Booking an appointment

GP appointments - We offer a mix of pre-bookable and on the day appointments, either over the telephone or by visiting the surgery and speaking to our reception team. On the day appointments can be become full quickly, so we ask that anyone wishing to speak to a doctor calls from 8.00am.

Phone lines are open from 8:00am to 6:30pm.
Surgery doors are open from 8:30am to 6:00pm.

When you contact the surgery to book an appointment, our admin team will ask for a brief reason for your visit. We understand you may sometimes prefer not to share details, but providing a short description helps us direct you to the most appropriate member of the team and ensure you receive the right care as quickly as possible.

Our reception team are trained in care navigation, allowing them to prioritise patients with urgent needs and direct others to the most suitable clinician or service.

Nursing team appointments - Our practice nurse is available Monday - Thursday for either face to face appointments or telephone appointments which can be booked in advance. Types of appointments include cervical smears, contraception advice and reviews, immunisations, injections, diabetic reviews, asthma and COPD reviews, routine health checks, blood pressure monitoring and travel advice.
