Booking an appointment

When calling for an appointment, you will be asked by our admin staff for the reason for the appointment. We understand that sometimes, you may not want to discuss this with someone however, by giving the admin team a brief description of what you wish to discuss, they are better able to triage your call and ensure you speak to the correct member of the team.

GP appointments -   We operate an on the day, telephone triage system when booking an appointment for a Doctor. By doing so, it allows us to see more patients during our opening hours. Appointments can be become full 1-2 hours after opening, so we ask that anyone wishing to speak to a Doctor calls from 8.00am. Following a telephone call, the Doctor will ask you to attend the surgery for a face to face appointment if they feel this is required and will give you a time over the phone.

Nursing team appointments - Our practice nurse is available Monday - Thursday for either face to face appointments or telephone appointments which can be booked in advance. Types of appointments include cervical smears, contraception advice and reviews, immunisations, injections, diabetic reviews, asthma and COPD reviews, routine health checks, blood pressure monitoring and travel advice.
